This Week on Musicians Radio
For over twenty years singing-songwriting duo Lowen and Navarro have been creating music together.  Recently I caught up with them as they we're putting the finishing touches on some tracks for their upcoming CD.

They are working once again with their old friend and producer Jim Scott.  What a great studio he has.

Like any good interview, a lot was revealed,  some good... like the top-five hit they wrote,  some bad,  and some shocking... they used to be singing waiters!

Check out the interview this Sunday on XMPR channel 133 at 5pm pacific 8 pm eastern.

If you don't have XM - no worries. You can download the podcast at www.musiciansradio.com.

And while you are there, go ahead and subscribe to the podcast and we'll get it to you automatically.

Also check out the MR List. The holidays are coming and you may need to stock up on Air Guitar Strings. They're guaranteed for the life of the guitar.

Next week our guest is John Densmore, drummer for The Doors, author, and member of the Rock and Roll hall of Fame.  I'm sure he'll have a story or two. I will of course ask him the question we've all had for so many years... "How come The Doors didn't have a bass player?!"

Also, in upcoming shows we'll get the gospel according to Michelle Shocked, and also have an interview with Austin guitarist great
Stephen Bruton.

Remember it's www.musiciansradio.com for newsletters, podcasts, videos, and the ever changing MR List.

And one more thing... we will never turn this thing into a media empire if you all don't help us out by forwarding this news letter to as many friends as you can. Use the handy link at the bottom.

Thanks and have a great week.

Peace,

Kevin McCormick
