This Week on Musicians Radio | ||
|
It's been a long time coming...
This newsletter has anyway. I've been on the road all summer. Eating bad catering. Playing good music and logging some serious miles. Fortunately the shows make it all worthwhile. Unfortunately I have fallen down on this newsletter thing so I need to let you know about some terrific guests we've had on.
Please have a look at our podcast archive and check out any shows you may have missed at: www.musiciansradio.com
David talks about growing up in California, his early influences, the connection of jazz giants like Coltrane and McCoy Tyner to his own music, The Byrds, CSN, CPR, and everything in between. You might also be surprised by what he says about being inducted to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame -- twice! In two weeks we'll have a feature interview with Graham Nash. I'm really looking forward to it. Besides being very straightforward, Graham has a memory that includes everything down to the last detail. I promise it will be entertaining. Other business: XM and Sirius have merged. People have asked me how it will affect Musicians Radio ...who knows? My hope is we'll survive. The show is getting great feedback and our podcast subscriptions rise each week. You can help by forwarding this letter on with the handy link below. I will keep you posted. Remember our show airs Sundays at 5 pm pacific / 8 eastern on XM Satellite radio channel 133 XMPR. And you can download/ stream or podcast it at www.musiciansradio.com. Peace,
