This Week on Musicians Radio
Here's a question. Who is the most "heard" composer in the world?
It's not Lennon and McCartney. Not Bach or Beethoven. Nothing like that.

Give up?  It's Mike Post.  From the "Rockford Files" to Law and Order, Mike has written themes and scored countless hit TV shows. In fact you can be sure that while you've been reading this loads of people around the world have heard his music in some form or fashion.  From doing sessions in the 60's on songs like "I Got You Babe" to NYPD Blue - check out my interview with the guy who says " I was in the right place, at the right time, with the right sound."  This week it's part one of  Between The Lines with Mike Post.

Our new time slot at XM seems to be working out well.  We are getting more mail than usual.  Also our podcast subscribers are growing.  It must be because you are forwarding this news letter to friends.  I appreciate that.  Don't forget to click on this link here ---->>>>>>>>>>

Next week's show will feature bassist, producer Mike Elizondo Jr. His latest project is Maroon 5.  He'll talk about coming up through the ranks from sessions - to writing and co-producing with Dr, Dre and many others.  Future guests also include Mindy Smith,  Harvey Brooks, Johnny Lee Schell and many others.

It looks like we are getting some support from a cool magazine called American Songwriter.  A magazine that focuses on the craft of writing music.  They have a great compilation issue and also sponsor a contest for songwriters. Check them out.

Remember you can subscribe to Musicians Radio Podcasts at iTunes.
And please forward this to a friend.

Thanks and have a great week.

Peace,

Kevin
